Y para devolver el cariño, aquí van algunas obras de amigas creativas con las que disfruto intercambiando ideas y con las que nos animamos mutuamente a hacer cosas bonitas...

They do say that friends of a feather flock together, and lots of my friends are very creative, I´d love to share some of the things they make...

OLALLA hace muchas cosas maravillosas y van variando según la época y las ganas, pero su talento está en la pintura y ahora lleva una temporada pintando copas. Quedan preciosas.

Olalla makes many things but her specialty is painting and lately she´s doing it on glasses that end up looking wonderful.

Hand-painted flower pot with a mexican theme.  Made especially for our historic mexican party.

The cacti are also the originals! (shall have to talk about plants soon, as well...)

   Y este es un pisapapeles, una piedrita pintada que vive feliz en mi mesa de trabajo. 
It´s a painted stone that serves as a paper weight. Adorable, makes me happy.

ALICIA se apuntó al patchwork cuando volvieron de Inglaterra y alli pasamos una mañana a la semana haciendo cositas y hablando, a partes iguales.Ha querido hacer tanto regalito, que ya tiene una mini coleccion de bolsos hecha!

Alicia and I go to sewing class together, and though we spend most of the time talking, we do manage to sew some things as well.  As an enthusiastic beginner she wanted to make hand-made gifts and it snowballed from there into a mini handbag collection.

                 

Cada uno está hecho con otra técnica y colores según para quien es - como debe ser.

Each one of them is made with a different technique and combination of colors, keeping the individual person it´s for in mind.

         






                                         

                                                                     

EVA por otro lado lo que mejor trabaja es la pastelería.  Nos va sorprendiendo con sus creaciones, cada vez más variadas, siempre con la ayuda imprescindible de Candela!

Eva is our pastry chef.  She started small and has gone off the charts in creating festive edible fun with the help of her daughter/sous-chef Candela :)

Otra ALICIA mia, mi cuñada, también hace cosas bonitas, en este caso en objetos deco y aquí tengo dos de los regalos que me ha hecho, teniendo mis gustos - y mi existente decoración- en cuenta. O sea, especial pa mi:) Gracias Alicia!
My sister-in-law Alicia makes decorative objects and here are two of the wonderful pieces she made especially for me.

Este es un bol de cristal en forma de flor, hecho en el color predominante de mi salón!

Y la pièce de résistance! Un espejo de París, para mi dormitorio con temática parisina. Oh-là-là!

VIRGINIA también hace muchas cosas, de ganchillo a punto, pero últimamente está con pulseras y collares y nos tiene perfectamente accesorizadas!
My friend Virginia went through a knitting phase but has lately turned to bracelets and necklaces, having all of us perfectly accesorized.

Y uno de mis favoritos, el collar de rosa.  Como las de Rennie Mackintosh.  Me encanta!
