Strawberry Cake
6 teaspoons melted butter
1 cup and 3 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
pinch salt
vanilla extract
1 egg
1 cup milk
300gr (1/2 lb.) fresh strawberries halved
With an electric mixer beat butter and sugar until frothy, about 3 minutes. Add egg, vanilla extract and milk and beat a couple minutes more. Slowly add the flour mixed with the salt and baking powder. Butter a round pan nad pour in the thick batter. Place the strawberries cut face down as close as possible. Sprinkle the 3 spoonfulls of sugar on the surface. Bake at 170ºC for about 45 minutes or until set in the middle. Enjoy!
