It´s cold outside: Firenze bougainvillea scarf. What else?

Qué frío hace estos días! Menos mal que terminé mi bufanda color buganvilia! La hice con una lana gorda y amorosa cuyo color me enamoró cuando la vi en un mercadillo en Florencia. Con un punto facilito, ha ido muy rápido y la he hecho bastante larga como para dar dos vueltas, como a mi me gusta.

It´s terribly cold these days! Good thing I finished my bugainvillea colored scarf! ( I had to look the word up, it´s funny, this flower has the same name in English, Greek and Spanish). I made it with some thick yarn I found at an open market in Florence. It went fast with no.9 needles so I made it long enough for a double wrap, just the way I like it!

Esta es la piazza Santo Spirito en Florencia, donde estuvimos en uno de nuestros viajes de aniversario, y que tenia un mercadillo monísimo, donde compré mis lanas y unas pulseras de cuero para los chicos. Volvimos otra noche y nos sentamos a tomar vino en la terraza, en el frio, como los guiris. Fue divertido 😄

This is the Piazza Santo Spirito in Firenze with its Sunday market. We were there on one of our anniversary trips, we hit the market one day where I got my beautiful yarns and some handmade leather goodies and we went back another night to drink wine sitting outside in the freezing cold like Americans. It was fun 😄
