Summery fashion

I have been trying to get around to finishing and posting this for a month now! Here it goes!

May was a really complicated month for me and then June started even worse but still in this time I had two moments when I had an uncontrolable urge to sew, haha. Two weekends ago I started with the fabric I had bought at La Crafteria in Bilbao: funky summer flamingos and a lovely dotted pink to match.

I immediately knew that these two did not want to be a bag, but more like a sleeveless top. So after a bit of web surfing to get tips and ideas I got on it. It didn´t come out half bad.
No salió nada mal.

And the week after that, the latest issue of Mollie Makes arrived, and I came across the best shirt hack ever. Grabbed one of Andres´old shirts and got right to it. I made it in an afternoon! How cool is that?

Had to add my personal touch of course, so I attached this fabric rose pin I had made some time ago...
